SPONSOR: The Community Banking Week Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored and administered by First Bank 127 South Oak, Arcola, IL 61910 (“Sponsor”). The Sponsor is responsible for all aspects of the Giveaway.
Entry Period: Entry submissions for the Giveaway will begin on April 3, 2023 at 8 a.m. Central Time (CT) and ends April 7, 2023 at 8:00 a.m. CT on Facebook (“Entry Period”).
How to Enter: You do not need to be a customer of the bank to enter the Giveaway. To enter the Giveaway, sign into your Facebook account, go to the bank’s Facebook page, and follow actions required on our Giveaway post by the close of the Entry Period. Entries will only be accepted on Facebook. The value of the prize is listed on each post and was provided by the Sponsor.
BY PARTICIPATING, ENTRANTS AGREE TO ABIDE BY AND BE BOUND BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES. THE ENTRANTS ALSO AGREE TO THE DECISIONS OF THE SPONSOR, WHICH SHALL BE FINAL AND BINDING IN ALL RESPECTS, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DECISIONS REGARDING ELIGIBILITY, WINNERS AND THE INTERPRETATION OF TERMS USED IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES.
Eligibility: The Giveaway is only open to legal residents of the United States who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Entries are limited to individuals only. Employees and relatives living in the same household of employees are not eligible to participate.
Conditions of Entry: By entering the Giveaway, you agree to be bound by these Official Rules and to the use by the Sponsor and its designees of their names, cities and states of residence and images/likeness for advertising and promotion purposes for this and similar promotions, worldwide, and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media, now known or hereafter devised (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, notification, or permission, except where prohibited by law. Any personal identifiable information collected during an entrant’s participation in the Giveaway will be collected by the Sponsor and used by the Sponsor, its affiliates, agents, and marketers for purposes of the proper administration and fulfillment of the Giveaway as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with the Sponsor’s Privacy Policy as stated at: https://www.arcolafb.com.
Prize and Odds of Winning: One participant will be randomly selected to win after the close of the Entry Period. The value of the prize is listed on each post and was provided by the Sponsor. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries. This item is not returnable or redeemable for cash. No substitution, barter, transfer, or assignment of prize permitted unless specified by the Sponsor. If the item(s) are lost, stolen, or damaged it will not be replaced. If a winner is unable to accept the prize, the Sponsor shall have no further obligation to the winner. All taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner Notification: The winner will be notified after the close of the Entry Period. The winner will be notified by email, Facebook post, telephone, USPS mail, or other delivery service of the Sponsor’s choice. If a selected winner is ineligible, declines the prize, or if the Sponsor is unable to make contact with a selected winner after seven (7) calendar days, the prize shall be forfeited and will be awarded to an alternate winner selected by another randomized selection from all remaining eligible entries. Winners may be required to show proof of identification. Unless otherwise specified, all prizes will be picked up at a bank branch during regular business hours. Prize will be available for pick up within 48 hours of the winner being announced. If mailed, the Sponsor is not responsible for the delay in delivery, theft or for any prizes lost in the mail. If mailed, the winner is not responsible for any mailing or shipping costs. The winner will have seven (7) days from the date of successful contact to claim their prize.
Limitation of Liability: Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission; communications line failure; theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to entries or entry forms; or alteration of entries or entry forms. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems with or technical malfunction or any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any email or mailed-in entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participants’ or any other persons’ computers related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Giveaway.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
